Xenu's Link Sleuth can be used for finding 404 pages on a website. An old, but still really useful and free tool which spiders the website and produces a report you can use to reduce errors.
Google's own UK Keyword suggestion tool is a great resource for finding keywords, especially if you are working on site taxonomy. Results can be exported to CSV for aggregation
Google's Online Page speed tool is relatively new, but quite useful. Speed is important to SEO & as google says, the web should be fast. See what factors are slowing your site down.
This Epic beginners guide is a must read for everyone on SEO. A 50 page document that covers many important factors and debunks SEO Myths. They also have an online version available
Great for link building. Costs ~£70/Month. This can be a little steep for small businesses just starting out, but non the less it's a fantastic tool, and used often can be worth the money.
