Up to 40% of Businesses in Wales do not have a presence online, and being under the UK average are missing out on both the market and opportunities from the rest of britain.
According to figures by google, up to 40% of small businesses in wales do not have a website and out of those that do. Only 33% of those are trading online.
To Help drive awareness and growth of Welsh business online, Google is set on a 12-month programme around wales and to provide more than 1,000 free consultations workshops to help businesses start a website or improve their online business.
The first event is held at The Coal Exchange, Cardiff, on 6 March from 16:00 – 19:00 GMT.
